The ornate tower is adorned with battlements with tall square panelled pinnacles. This outer square encloses a top storey of another eight pinnacles and a centre piece. Weathervanes are on top of all of the pinnacles and the middle ironwork.

The main weathervane is a metal cloverleaf design with outer swirls. The other pinnacle ones are standard arrows.

Unfortunately the church has been subject to some vicious vandalism where lead from the roof was stolen and tombs trashed. Scaffolding is erected with covering over the roof.
