The largest lighting display in Denver comes on nightly at 6 p.m. at the City & County Building, where 600,000 lights deck the neo-classical building and will once again transform the structure into one of the most beautiful and popular holiday lighting displays in the region.
The tradition began in 1935 and has continued annually. The holiday lighting ceremony has become a large annual gathering. Keep an ear out for the tower chimes, which ring every 15 minutes.
The lights remain glowing until New Year. These will be turned on again and again in January for the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo.
Holiday: Christmas and New Years
