Southern California Edison Company Monument - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I first spotted a wooden ~4"x4" knee high witness post along this ridge outside of the SCE's shuttered Mohave Generating Station. It had a brass? tag stating 5 feet away.
I stepped back and clearly saw the SCE marker. I got a couple of shots of it and continued on.
This open stretch of desert is just off of Thomas Edison Road.

The easiest access would be nearest the generating station fence so as to remain at nearly the same elevation as the marker following the ridge. I found it from a more difficult direction.
