This World War Memorial is located in a small park next to the former Chicopee High School. This monument was dedicated May, 31, 1921 at a cost of $12,000.

The female figure holds a shield in her right hand and a wreath in her left hand. Around her waist is the seal of the City of Chicopee.

The shield is inscribed with the following:

"To My Brave And Loyal Sons Who Have Fought For Humanity, Liberty, Justice and Peace"

The main plaque says:

"Chicopee Erects This Monument In Grateful Memory Of All Her Sons Who Served In The World War 1914-1918"

There are also monuments for the Civil War, World War II, Vietnam War and Korean War in this park.
