The town church of Towcester houses some fine stained glass windows.

From the entrance door going anti-clockwise around the church the windows are as follows:
South Aisle - George Osborn memorial window:
This window is dedicated to this man and has four scenes, it is a traditional design.
South Aisle - Suffer the little children to come unto me
This bright, modern window shows this famous biblical scene.
South Chancel - In thy light shall we see light
A traditional window depicting the above scene. There are two worn plaques under the window panes but they are very hard to discern.
South Chancel - To heaven
This large window lies just before the Altar.
East Window - The Crucifixion
The main window of the church has a plaque beneath which reads as follows:
'WILLIAM SPONNE
RECTOR OF TOWCESTER, ARCHDEACON OF NORFOLK
FOUNDER OF SPONNES CHARITY
DIED 1448
THE SHIELD IN THE EAST WINDOW WITHIN THIS CHAPEL IS GLASS BROUGHT FROM THE TABARD INN ONCE OWNED BY THE CHARITY'
The church dates to the 14th century and is full of interesting features.
