Gunnings in an unincorporated area between Kingsport and Bountville, TN. This cemetery can be see on the hill overlooking highway TN126.
In 2005, TNGenWeb project reported "Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee has began a total survey of the Gunnings Cemetery, Sullivan County Tennessee. To date the Old Gunnings Cemetery has been survey with a finding of 828 graves"
