"The building at 107 N. Main built ca.1870. The Greek Revival 2-
story, 3-bay house-store has a cast iron storefront and galvanized iron
ornamental cornice. The house-store was built by grocer Henry B. Denker, a native of Hannover, Germany who also had also owned the adjacent building to the south. He bought the lot in 1867 for $1575 from his father-in-law Ludwig Meyer, owner of 101 N. Main." - from Historic District Boundary Increase documentation.
