The building at 124-26 South Main has been restored closer to its original appearance. The building was constructed circa 1870. The front facade had been covered with stucco in 1935. The stucco has been removed and original brick facade restored.
"124-26 South Main, ca. 1935 four-bay white
stucco Spanish Revival primary facade on ca. 1870 brick building with
gabled roof; red clay tile featured as coping on front gable and as
vent in gable; elongated second story rectangular windows (bricked-in)
display ornamental metal railings and curved brick sills; first story
openings feature surrounds of red brick quoin ing; polychrome glazed
tiles form a frieze below first story window; cast stone corbelled
