This small museum is run by the city and is free to all, although donations are always needed (and a donation of $3.00 per person is suggested). There are several rooms of interactive exhibits which are mostly self-explanatory. There is a bare minimum of signs and rules. The newest exhibit is Clean Green Energy Machines, which explores renewable energy.

The Junior Museum is also the entrance to the Junior Zoo, a tiny kid's size zoo with about 50 native and exotic animals.
