This small town is a bit quieter than it's namesake in the middle east.

Lebanon is an agricultural town, next to the foothills of the Cascades. It was founded in 1851, but the local post office was listed under the name Santyam or Santiam. By 1859 the post office had been changed to match the township. Lebanon currently has a population of around 13,000. I come through here because this is a nice caching destination, and some of my caching friends live in the area.
