Wilkins Mill Covered Bridge is one of just three Parke County bridges known to have been built by William Hendricks (the others, Rush Creek and Mill Creek, still stand today). It spans Sugar Mill Creek and carries a roadway that has served mill activity since 1835, including a mill built by namesake George Wilkins that stood nearby from 1855-1877. The replacement mill stood until 1947.
The bridge is still open to vehicle traffic on an unpaved road near Turkey Run State Park. Number 14-61-35 in the World Guide.
Current Condition of Bridge: Bridgehunter.com rates the superstructure as "fair" and the substructure as "satisfactory." Visual appearance is good.

Built in 1906 by William Hendricks. Burr arch single span, 102' long or 122' with the concrete abutments. Portal is 15' wide by 13' high.
