This zoo is part of Palo Alto's science outreach program with local schools. Animals including raccoons, bobcats, hedgehogs, ferrets, and snakes are brought to the classroom for nature education. Animals are on display at the zoo daily 10AM to 4:30PM except Sunday 1-4PM, and closed Mondays. There are no petting animals at the zoo. Entrance is through the Junior Museum doors. Admission is free, but donations are always needed; $3 per person donation is suggested.
