To reach from Highway 84 in Fremont travel .75 miles South on Thornton Ave to Baylands Rd. Turn right/West onto Bayland Rd and proceed 3.5 miles to the fishing pier. The benchmark is located on the South side of the road near the beginning of a levy and almost directly across the street from a green utility box. It is three inches from a witness post and six inches below ground level. It is accessed through a black plastic cover.
