Longcross Plain is the highest point in the New Forest. The trig point can be seen to the south of the B3078 (Roger Penny Way) between Cadnam and Fordingbridge, Hampshire.

Longcross Plain is flat so the views from the trig point marking its summit are not particularly remarkable. Walk a short distance west or north and the vistas open up. Trees block the views to the east and west.
