The Letter box is placed in what looks like solid rock. The box is on the roadside near to a bridge, in a village that has declined from a busy farming community into a very sleepy hamlet.
The old house situated alongside is about to undergo restoration/rebuild.(November 2008)
Very few houses in the Isle of Man are restored . They are simply knocked down and rebuilt. Watch this space!!!
