A statue of a rearing horse constructed out of overlapping irregular shaped steel plates. It stands on a brick platform set into the slope of a small hillock in a roundabout facing south-east towards the A429. The work cost £600. The artist, one of four winners of a council-run competition to mark Industry Year 1986, was reportedly not very pleased with the offer prize of a £25 book token. He was then a student on the sculpture course at Coventry University (as it is now).
The only plaque on the statue reads: Restored by R J Jones & Co (blacksmiths) Burton Hastings Warwickshire August 1998
