Baptist Medical Centre in Ogbomoso, Nigeria was established by Missionaries in 1917. It has since grown to be a critical care institution serving many of the locals and beyond. There are a number of missions to the Centre including one I participated in with the MedicalCARE, Inc. group out of Oakland, CA.

This group mission was to complete the installation of equipment in the new Intensive Care Unit and train the medical staff in it operation and use. Photo of the building of the ICU building can be seen at medicalcareforchildren.org/Gallery/ICU Project/ICU2008.html. Visitors are welcome and the hospitality is wonderful.
