The memorial consists of a brick wall with bronze plaques. On the plaques are quotes from the poet's works where flowers are mentioned. In the middle of the wall is a locked box that has a bust of Shakespeare (though the box is really never opened.) Surrounding the wall are flowers that appear in Shakespeare's works.
