Yaquina Head - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Yaquina Head Lighthouse is touted as being the tallest lighthouse in the state of Oregon, and is listed as a virtual cache through geocaching.com (GC83ED - See the Light!). While on a tour of the grounds, I came across this lovely little article that I discovered has not been logged as a waymark.

The original mark that this one replaced is on display behind a locked cabinet in the visitor's center. Be prepared to pay a $7.00 charge for this one (you must check in at the visitor center before continuing on to the lighthouse).
