Compared to the other gazebos in local parks, this one is huge! This gazebo is directly off of Route 30, a major highway. From the road, there is a concrete path which takes you directly through the WW I, WW II and Korean & Vietnam Memorials. As you sit in the memorial, you would be able to have a straight line of sight to all of the monuments. Parking is NOT advised on route 30, instead, pass the park and in about 50 feet make a right onto Buffalo Avenue. You can park on this street (right side)
The structure features a two-layered roof composed of wooden shingles and topped with a neat little wooden cupola. It is octagonal in design and made of plastic and wood. The floor is composite plastic called trex. There is no seating but plenty of benches surround this gazebo. There is a handicapped accessible ramp as well. There are rows of repeating balusters (very ornate). These small posts are all painted white and can also be found on the staircases and even more balustrades on the ramp.
