Mrs.Kenyon built the church here at Pradoe for the use of the sick and elderly who could not walk to the 2 churches at nearby West Felton or Ruyton, therefore the church was situated between the 2 villages,in a very peaceful setting.
The name "Pradoe" may come from the Welsh word meaning "Paradise"
The church is always open for visitors.
Inside the church an excellent booklet is available by Becky Heathcote which gives information and history on the church, also there is a transcription of the churchyard memorial inscriptions for those interested.
