Tourism is one of the most important factors in the small town of Pacific Grove. It's adjacent to Monterey's famed Cannery Row, and is an attraction in its own right for golf, butterfly and bird watching, and a old-time home-town atmosphere. The main information tourists need to get here is recommendations for lodging and dining. (Unfortunately, the Chamber office can't help with getting a prime tee time at one of the important Pebble Beach courses.)
The office itself is open limited hours, weekdays, but an all-weather information kiosk has brochures and recommended attractions listed. The office is one block from Pacific Grove's main street which has many choices for food, including a grocery market, and it is directly across the street from Jewell Park with picnic facilities.
