The box is in good condition and surprisingly is in the Victorian part of town. In its day this used to be a very nice place, now most of the buildings are boarded up and the old architecture is going to ruin. The post box is cared for though.
Tell us about the area the post box is situated.:
Victorian houses are dominant with their ornate detailed architecture but unfortunately they have been left to fall apart. The houses were part of the Bedford Physical Education College which later became part of De Montfort University and moved to a new site.
