Canton Historic Pioneer Cemetery
This small pioneer cemetery is named after Lucretia Downer, who in 1825 was one of the very first few pioneer women who purchased land and applied for a land grant in what would become Canton Township. She, as well as veterans of wars dating back to the civil war and Canton's earliest pioneers, rest here in this cemetery.
