The memorial is inscribed with the names of the servicemen from Kenton County who gave their lives during the Vietnam War. It is made of black marble in 3 pieces. The names inscribed on the two outer pieces with the dedication on the middle piece. There are 3 flags behind, the US flag, POW/MIA flag and the flag of Kenton County.

In front of the memorial there is a walkway of bricks with the plaque from the local veterans branch. There are also two engraved bricks beside the plaque.
