Dedicated in Loving memory of
Avaleen Hayes
(1913-1999)


By her loving husband, George, and Children, Martha, George and Mary.

Her love for trees and flower were the inspiration for this park.

Avaleen’s service to others included:
Organizing the city’s first Cub Scouts,

Brownie and Girl Scout Troops;
Teaching second graders; and playing the organ. At

Adairsville Methodist Church for over twenty-five years.

A women whose smile lit up a room,
She was a lovely person.

May the serenity and beauty of this spot
Forever reflect the beauty of her life.
