This ice cream parlor is located in the old dairy of the Elm Farm. The farm that was located at this site was started in the 1830's. In 1934 Henry Abell bought the farm and renamed it Elm Farm. The Dairy Farm provided milk to residents of Medina County until it closed in 1979.
Today the old dairy is the home to an ice cream parlor featuring ice cream made on-site with 100 varieties of ice cream offered for your pleasure. The dining area has an old fashioned feeling and offers rocking cows for the youngsters to play.
Elm Farm is also the home to the Elm Farm Ice Cream and Dairy Museum. The museum features vintage equipment used in dairy production and ice cream manufacturing at the farm while it was still operating.
The parlor is open seasonally from March through the end of October. The parlor is open Tuesday through Sunday.
