The Washington School was built 1905-1906 in the center square of Washington, Utah. The two-story stone building was probably designed by Richard Watkins, who designed between two and three hundred school buildings in Utah during the late 1800's and early 1900's. The building had a one-story addition to the rear in 1922 which served as a gymnasium. The building is now used to house Washington City Historical Museum.
