Two bronze plaques memorialize our local heroes who fought in World War II. They are located in front of the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.

Plaque 1 reads:
"The World War II bronze relief was commissioned by the Mission Viejo City Council on April 25, 1995 and dedicated with the Veterans Memorial on Veterans Day, November 11, 1995, during the 50th Anniversary year of the end of World War II. The sculptor was Orell Christian Anderson of Mission Viejo, California."
Plaque 2 depicts four profile faces and reads:
"To Honor the Men and Women of Mission Viejo who served in the United States Armed Services during World War II."
