The Boardwalk is one of only two remaining amusement parks along the Pacific coast of the US. This mural celebrates the boardwalk's marine connection as well as both of its iconic rides - the historic Looff Carousel and the Giant Dipper roller coaster.
Admission to the boardwalk is always free; on a nice day plenty of people come to stroll, spectate, and sunbathe. There are water fountains, restroooms, benches, and a few artistic touches such as the murals like this at the entrances.
