Shoe tree discovered on a trip up to Mackinac Island MI, located along US-131, north of Kalkaska. The tree appears to still be alive, although we caught it towards the end of its color season here in the MI autumn. The majority of the shoes seem to be tennis shoes. Not sure who created the tree, or why it's so well populated, but it sure does provide an unique attraction to stop and check out on the way to northern Michigan!
