Memorial Cross placed for Lt Booth.

Lt. Booth was killed by sniper fire on October 17, 2006 while leading his platoon on patrol in Haditha, Iraq. He was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and awarded the Purple Heart posthumously. He was the first resident of Sturbridge killed in action since World War II.
