This house bears the date 1611 and is now the Westlands Care Home for the elderly. It is one of many houses in the northern end of the town dating from the 17th century as this is the oldest part.

There was a disastrous fire in 1854 which ripped through the north eastern end of the town. This house looks like it has had some modern alterations but no specific details are available.
