The “Cross and Crown” pattern is displayed on the post-and-beam barn originally built in 1921 by John Preston to replace an older deteriorating log barn.

Street address is 4812 Orebank Road which is at the historical Exchange Place farm museum. Best accessed heading north on John B. Dennis/TN93 highway (no exit coming south - must take TN126/Memorial Blvd and find the road).

Exchange Place (Preston Farm) was where stagecoach horses were replaced and Virginia money could be exchanged for Tennessee. It is an active site with many activities. See also Waymark Code: WM50WV.
