PB0487 - USCGS V358, Oregon - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark is located along a road section between Devils Lake and Elk Lake that was abandoned in the early 1960’s when the current alignment of the Cascade Lakes Highway was established. Road segment is now a trail in the Three Sisters Wilderness. The cap is set in a square concrete post about 18 feet west of the old centerline. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1942 and was marked V358.
