Site located on Mississippi St. on the town side of Mississippi St. where Bayou Lafourche head waters is dammed ("hump" in Waymark photo). A few Historic markers and monuments surround the area, which is what photos are of. Also known as 16AN36.

Site is around public areas. There are a few markers (on levee side) of Mississippi St. and the actual "dig" area is located on the opposite side (town side). That is the portion on the Register. There is a historical Louisiana Marker on site which I will add for ease of finding site if planning a visit. If you find marker on Mississippi St., you find site. There really is not much to see, unfortunate.
