Bronze statue of Rick Husband, a native of Amarillo Texas, in the terminal of the Amarillo International Airport. The airport was renamed in his honor in 2003 after the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster in February of that year.
The statue shows Husband in his flight suit with helmet, left hand gesturing to the sky.
The statue was dedicated on January 19, 2004. The artist is Mark Lundeen from Loveland, CO.
