Designed by Nagao Sakurai of the Imperial Palace, Tokyo, this large garden features the teahouse, a koi pond, bamboo grove, and a granite pagoda. The paved paths are wheelchair accessible. Many of the specimen trees have identifying labels, as part of the San Mateo Arboretum.
It's open to the public from 10AM - 4PM weekdays, 11AM -4PM weekends. There is no admission charge. Plenty of free parking is available on city streets surrounding Central Park.
