Située en plein cœur du parc du Lac, cette sculpture de 17m de haut est l'œuvre de SZEKELY qu'il a réalisée en 1975. À l'origine la Dame du Lac était prévue pour que l'on puisse faire de l'escalade, conférant à cette œuvre d'art une dimension fonctionnelle et populaire, loin de l'élitisme souvent injustement attribué à ce type de créations contemporaines. Se reflétant dans l'eau du Lac comme une femme dans un miroir, ce monument élégant est devenu le symbole de la commune de Courcouronnes.

Located in the heart of Parc du Lac, this sculpture 17m high was built by Mr SZEKELY ,he has accomplished in 1975. The original Lady of the Lake was expected to be able to make climbing, giving this artwork dimension functional and popular, far from elitism often wrongly attributed to such contemporary creations. Reflected in the water of Lake as a woman in a mirror, this elegant monument has become the symbol of the town of Courcouronnes.
