The front gate of Vulcan Materials' Carroll Canyon Facility is at 10051 Black Mountan Road in San Diego (at the posted coordinates), but the best view is from the other end of their operation, which stretches almost a mile to the west: on Camino Ruiz, just north of Miralani Drive. This facility extracts rock and sand, and also sells asphalt and concrete products.
Note that the firehouse across the street, with an interesting sculpture outside, is also a waymark.
