The flatboat "Charlotte" was part of a reenactment in 1976 of Donelson's flotilla down the Holston River which ultimately founded Nashville, TN.

This replica flatboat was used during America's Bicentennal celebration (June-August 1976) to reenact the 30 boat flotilla that left here in 1779. It is now on display at the Netherland Inn historical site. Read the historical information on the sign in the gallery images for more details.
