I am not sure which of height, flow, or width were used as criterion for the comparative size.
Directions. Take RV45 to Gilja. Follow the signs toward Månefossen. You will go through a tunnel into Frafjord. The parking lot is in a canyon on the northeast side of the valley. Parking cost 20 NOK a day last tiem I checked. The initial viewpoint is about a 30 minute hike on a steep rock trail. The falls themselves are about 45-60 minutes from the parking lot. The old farm at Mån behind-above the falls is 60-80 minutes from the parking lot. Coordinates are at the top of the falls. There is a geocache there, coincidently.
