This display does not have any marker, or additional information. I spoke with several park employees, and they knew nothing about the caboose. Additionally this caboose has all doors locked.
Caboose9 says this is actually SLSF #1426 built 11/75. He knows of no SLSF cabooses numbered this high.
The word "Ozark" is a mis-pronunciation of the French term "Aux Arcs"; meaning "In the country of Arkansas".
