Mt Tom State Reservation is along the migratory route of various species of hawks. The migration period extends from mid-August until first snowfall. Bray tower is one of the recommended locations for observing the hawks. The tower is not handicap accessible however the area around the tower is a drive to location and gives a good vantage point.
