The Ralph H. Gibson Caboose was built in 1938 for the Pennsylvania Railroad (it currently rides on New York Central trucks). It is an all-steel caboose. The caboose has been restored and is used on special weekends at the end of the steam train. In the vicinity of the caboose there are several railroad cars, locomotives and other railroad equipment. The Valley Railroad Company operates the Essex Steam Train from this property, for more information about the steam train see their
website.
