In 2001, Warpath Lanes installed the automatic gutter guards which I thought really opened up this sport to families. Parents can bowl as normal, but when smaller kids came up, there were rails that popped up to stop most gutter balls. The kids had a fair score as they learned to bowl more accurately, so as to no longer need the guards.
The other major change in 2007 was the Tennessee state law banning smoking inside most public facilities, including this one. Smokers head outside, so it still is not perfect.
Major con is the bathroom area which needs a radically renovation. The small food bars is also limited in choices and service depends on who is staffing.
