L'église Saint-Étienne est édifiée, dès le début du XIIème siècle, sur l'emplacement du cimetière du haut Moyen Âge, à côté de l'église primitive. Cet imposant monument de plan rectangulaire présente, sur son angle nord contre le chevet, un clocher évidé, laissant passer la lumière. La perspective de ses arcs-boutants est impressionnante. L'église possède une intéressante vitrerie : le chevet plat est éclairé par une rose du XIIIe siècle, qui représente, à sa périphérie, les occupations des douze mois de l'année, les fenêtres hautes de la nef sont vitrées d'images d'évêques du XIVe siècle, et certaines chapelles latérales ont encore leurs verrières d'origine. Dans la tribune, l'orgue a gardé une partie du positif et sa soufflerie du XVIIe siècle : ces deux pièces, unique dans le département, sont classées monuments historiques. En partie restauré, cet orgue permet l'audition de concerts de qualité.

The church of Saint-Etienne is built early in the XIIth century on the location of the cemetery early Middle Ages, next to the church. This imposing monument rectangular plan shows on its northeast corner against the bedside, a hollow tower, allowing light to pass through. The prospect of its flying buttresses is impressive. The church has an interesting Glazing: bedside dish is lit by a pink-thirteenth century, which is at its periphery, occupations twelve months of the year, the high windows of the nave windows are images of Bishops of the fourteenth century, and some side chapels still have their original glass. In the gallery, the organ has kept a positive part of its wind tunnel and the seventeenth century: these two parts, one in the department are classified as historical monuments. Partly restored, this allows the hearing organ concerts quality.
