This time capsule was placed to commemorate the centennial, 100 years of service for the National Wildlife Refuge System. It was committed on February 15, 2003 and is scheduled to be opened on February 15, 2103. Come on over and join the Celebration.

Time capsule is set in stone and concrete, with a bronze plaque. The plaque has a nice likeness of Theodore Roosevelt.
