Located in historic Court Square, this monument the focal point. A union soldier stands on top of a 30 foot tall base. On each side of the base are plaques and names of battles that Massachusetts 10th, 27th, 37th and 46th regiments fought in.

Designed by M. H. Mosman of the Ames Works, Chicopee, Massachusetts.

This is a roadside monument that can be visited any time day or night.
