Hilton Falls - Milton, Ontario - Waterfalls on Waymarking.com

Hilton Falls is the site of a preglacial river that was enlarged significantly during the glacial retreat. There is evidence here of a much larger river than the creek you see today. Just down from the falls you will see 14,000 year old potholes. The falls themselves are a 1.5 km hike along an easy trail. There is a platform at the top and the bottom of the falls, which are easily accessed.

There is the remains of a mill here, one of the three that once stood at this spot. Hilton Falls is close to Toronto, and is one of the most popular hiking and mountain biking spots. Due to the popularity of the area, there will normally be lots of people here when you visit - particularly on weekends.

There is a fee to visit the park, but Bruce Trail Association members can park for free.
